Technology Honor Society
Eligibility
- Students must be currently enrolled in a Technology or Family & Consumer Science class. Only juniors and seniors are eligible to apply.
- Interested seniors must have completed 3 classes in Technology Education or Family & Consumer Science by the end of the current school year. Technology courses are defined by the code “TC” in the MHRD Program of Studies and generally include classes in Woods, Metals, Graphics, Electricity/Robotics, and CAD. Family & Consumer Science courses are defined by the code "FC" in the Program of Studies.
- Interested juniors must have completed 2 classes in Technology Education or Family & Consumer Science by the end of the current school year and be enrolled in a Technology of Family & Consumer Science course for their senior year. GT courses in either of these areas can count as a third year of Tech or FCS.
- Minimum GPA in all Technology Education or Family & Consumer Science courses of 90%
- Overall GPA minimum of 85%

Students cannot combine classes coded as FC and TC to meet the three (3) class requirement. All 3 courses must be in the same content area, either FC or TC.
Students must complete an application and submit it to their Technology Education teacher. Interested students should see their teacher or counselor for additional information.
