Mu Alpha Theta (National Mathematics Honor Society)

The Mathematics Honor Society recognizes juniors and seniors who have demonstrated outstanding mathematical achievement as well as overall academic excellence.  Members exemplify personal integrity by using their mathematical knowledge for the good of society and contribute to the school community through service.
In order to become a member, students must have either completed or currently be enrolled in Pre-Calculus, have earned a  weighted average of 95 in previous math courses taken in high school (excluding computer science), have earned a weighted cumulative GPA of 85 or higher, and be currently enrolled in a mathematics course.

To maintain membership students must be an active member of the Mu Alpha Theta Club, continue to be enrolled in a math course, maintain an overall average of 90 in math courses, and participate in Mu Alpha Theta service activities.
