    Overview

    The Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering, located at Morris Hills High School, is a rigorous, highly focused four year program for Morris County Students with career interests in mathematics, science, or engineering. Students complete a challenging curriculum and participate in technical internships with partners from business and industry. Admission to the Academy is competitive, with students selected from throughout Morris County. The Academy is a collaborative effort between the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Morris County Vocational School District, and the Morris Hills Regional District. Academy students are enrolled in the Morris County Vocational School District, which is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Council on Occupational Education.
     
    Newsweek released its 2016 high school rankings and The Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering was ranked 2nd in the nation.

    • Mandatory Summer Session for Admitted Students:
      • July 16th-July 27th, 2018 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
     
    *Note: Any student applying to any full-time Academy AND either the Magnet for Math & Science or the IB programs must test on Dec 2nd at Morris Hills High School
