The Morris Hills Chapter was established in 1985. It is one of only 27 other chapters in New Jersey and is affiliated with the National Art Educators Association. Students who have maintained a 90 average in art classes for two consecutive years are eligible for membership in the Morris Hills High School Chapter 721 of the National Art Honor Society.
Nominations are made by the Art Department staff. This organization raises funds to purchase honor cords, to host the annual induction ceremony, and to give awards to students at graduation. The students in National Art Honor Society work with the Art Services club.
