The Morris Hills Regional District will be offering the following Summer Acceleration Courses during the Summer of 2018 for motivated students who are looking to get ahead in high school:
- Algebra I (5 credit course)- Please note: state regulations require all students to take the PARCC exam at the end of this course.
- Geometry Honors (5 credit course)- Please note: state regulations require all students to take the PARCC exam at the end of this course. (Course is at capacity--please call to be placed on a waitlist)
- Personal Finance (2.5 credit course). Session 1 is full; seats are still available for Session 2.
- SAT Prep Math & Language Arts (2.5 credit course).
Each course above will earn full, transcripted high school credit and is aligned to the NJ Student Learning Standards. Any motivated student who meets the prerequisites and will be in grades 9-12 in the 2018-2019 school year is eligible to participate. Middle school students (entering 8th grade in 2018-2019) will be considered for Algebra I on an individual basis and must have middle school math teacher and administrative approval.
