Participation in the Fall Play gives student actors and stage technicians the experience of a small cast production in a theatre-in-the-round setting. Students cast in the Fall Play work intensively on their dramatic skills, while those working on the technical side can gain hands-on experience in their areas of interest, which may include set construction, scenic painting, lighting, sound, costumes, makeup, stage management and running crew. Auditions for the Fall Play are usually held at the end of September; rehearsals run through October and early November, with Tech Week and performances before Thanksgiving.
