GERMAN CLUB

The German Club's purpose is to bring German life and culture to the American student.  Through the club, the traditions and customs come alive.  We learn about the festive days in Germany by celebrating the Oktoberfest, Weihnachten (Christmas, with caroling in German), and Fasching (carnival time).  Activities may include a trip to New York City, visiting stores specializing in German products and a German café.  Other activities include working on World Language Week, 

writing, producing and directing commercials and creating decorations for the showcase.  Club members will also learn German games.  Depending on the project, meetings are held either every week or twice a month.
