The Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering is a rigorous, highly-focused four year program for Morris County students with a career interest in engineering. Students complete a challenging curriculum and participate in technical internships with partners from business and industry.
The Academy is a collaborative effort among the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Morris County Vocational School District, and the Morris Hills Regional District. The program is located at Morris Hills High School, a 39-acre site that was the former Günter Estate in Rockaway, New Jersey. The Academy is housed in the Dr. James J. McNasby Technology Center, a modern facility with laboratories and classroom space. Students complete coursework both in the Academy building and at Morris Hills High School.
