PROJECT L.E.A.D.Ms. DiStasio
This service organization provides Freshmen and other students new to Morris Knolls a chance to become quickly orientated to the school environment. A student run organization, Project Lead is comprised of a total group of about 60 members.
Highlights include coordinating the Freshman Orientation Program in September and the Freshman Orientation dance. This club not only helps freshmen students, but also allows its members to practice leadership and organizational skills.
Membership in this program necessitates an application process, meetings from March to June and in September, a meeting one evening in August, the Orientation Program on the day before classes start, and participation in the Freshman Orientation dance. The program is completed after the first couple of weeks of school.
