BUSINESS EDUCATIONThe Business Department recognizes the importance of homework as a reinforcement tool. In general, homework is assigned on a regular basis according to appropiate course requirements. Assignments vary based on the nature of the course. Students are encouraged to practice at home of equipment is available. For the most part, assignments in all other business classes consist of problem solving exercises and exploring topics related to the instructional material. Students involved in College Accounting will require additional preparation due to the advanced level of this course. All assignments support concepts learned in class. On occasion, longer term assignments such as projects or reports are assigned. In computer courses, students may expect frequent lab projects in addition to assigned homework. Many students spend extra time working in computer labs outside of class to complete projects, especially following an absence.
