    Generally, homework assigned as an extension to science classes should be completed on a nightly basis. Assignments may include, but are not limited to, drill and practice such as readings, vocabulary review, teacher-prepared worksheets, text assignments, classroom preparation such as laboratory reports, extended study for tests, quizzes and completion of outlines, and long-range work including oral and written reports, specimen collections, supplemental laboratory activities, completion of surveys, and interviews.
