P. Neil Charles - Supervisor of Technology Services
Education: BA Elementary Education & Economics, Rider University, MA Educational Technology, New Jersey City University, School Technology Leadership Certificate, University of Minnesota, MA Administration and Supervision, New Jersey City University
Neil Charles joined the district in 2005 as the Supervisor of Technology Services. Prior to his current role, he was the Director of Technology for the Clinton Township School District. In addition, he has taught first grade in the Highland Park School District. He holds certification in Windows Troubleshooting, Local Area Networks, and Macintosh Troubleshooting, to name a few. He has extensive experience in the educational environment and keen awareness of the needs and concerns of students, staff, community members, and district administrators.
Kevin Doyle - District Supervisor of Instruction/Science
Education: BS Physics, Seton Hall University, MS Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment, Walden University, MS Educational Leadership, New England College
Prior to his position as the Supervisor of Instructional Services for Science, Mr. Kevin S. Doyle taught and coached for eight years at Morris Hills High School. His teaching assignments included physics, chemistry, and physical science and his coaching assignments included assistant soccer, assistant spring track and field, head indoor track and field and the physics team. Prior to joining the Morris Hills staff, he taught physics and chemistry at Pompton Lakes High School and physics, chemistry, and mathematics at Immaculate Heart Academy.
Cheryl Giordano - District Director of Instructional Services for Math/Academy
Education: BA Mathematics, The College of New Jersey, MA Administration and Supervision, New Jersey City University
Cheryl Giordano joined the Morris Hills Regional District in August 2008. She began her career in education as a high school mathematics and computer science teacher in Wayne Valley High School. Prior to her current role, she served as the Supervisor of Mathematics, Business, and the University Program in Information Technology for Indian Hills High School.
Thomas Hill - District Director for Occupational and Technical Education
Education: BA Montclair State University, MA Jersey City State College
Tom Hill currently serves as District Director for Occupational and Technical Education. He previously served as the CAD instructor at Morris Hills HS for 13 years. While in his teaching position he served as advisor to the skills USA/Vica program, where his students won first place in the State for architectural drafting from 1995 through 1998. he also served as assistant football and baseball coach during that time. Most recectly he has been nominated for Who's Who in America's Teachers by a former student.
Cindy Snook joined the Morris Hills Regional District as the Transportation Supervisor in February of 2001. Prior to joining Morris Hills Regional, she was both a driver and Operations Manager of a family-owned school bus company in Sussex County for ten years. She holds a certification from the State of New Jersey as a Pupil Transportation Supervisor. In September of 1996, she was named the Transportation Coordinator of the Ridgewood Public School District, serving in this capacity for over six years before coming to Morris Hills.
Steve Ternosky - Supervisor of Building and Grounds
Education: Certified Education Facilities Manager, Rutgers Cooperative
Steve Ternosky joined the Morris Hills Regional staff in 1999. In addition to his above certification, he is Integrated Pest Management Certified and Radon Certified. He holds membership in the New Jersey Building and Grounds Association and New Jersey Turf Grass Association.
Erin Morgan - District Director of Instructional Services for English
Education: BA Television Production/Broadcast Journalism, University of Delaware,
MA Instructional Leadership, Centenary College, NJ
Ms. Morgan joined the Morris Hills Regional District in 2007 when she became an Assistant Principal in charge of Attendance, and the Supervisor of Fine and Performing Arts. Recently, she has transitioned over to the English department where she will serve as the Interim District Director of Language Arts for the 2016-2017 school year. Ms. Morgan is well suited for this role as she previously served as the Language Arts Supervisor for the Mount Olive School District for many years.
Krystal Beck - District Supervisor of Instructional Services for Social Studies
Education: BA History & Secondary Education, Minor in Dance from Wilkes University, M.Ed in Educational Administration from East Stroudsburg University
Prior to her position as the District Supervisor of Instructional Services - Social Studies, Krystal Beck taught social studies at Morris Knolls High School from 2004 - March 2014. She then served as an Assistant Principal of Attendance and Supervisor of the Fine & Performing Art Department at Morris Knolls High School until the end of June 2014.
Sonya Boyer - District Supervisor of Instruction-Special Servicessboyer@mhrd.org
Education: BA Kutztown University, MA in Educational Administration and Supervision from NJCU
Ms. Boyer joined the Morris Hills Regional District community in 1998. Prior to her position as the District Supervisor of Instruction - Special Services, Ms. Boyer taught English, History, and Reading in the Special Education Department. She also served as the Consulting Teacher from 2004-2014.
