A very special message to all of my former basketball and tennis players. On April 10 I am going to be inducted into the New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association Hall of Fame. It is certainly one of the most meaningful and personal honors I’ve ever received and I am really honored and humbled by this prestigious award. But the credit belongs to you and every other Morris Knolls athlete that stepped foot on the basketball or tennis courts and made that commitment to play for me. I accept this award on your behalf. Coaching high school sports has been a 42 year journey. I’ve coached 93 basketball and tennis teams both boys and girls. Each team and each player holds a special place in my heart. As I accept this award my thoughts will be with each and every one of you.
